I'll try to review it soon. You’ll an external balancer if you want to charge LiPo with the Onyx 230.

I do like the bigger lcd on the ICE but like the power supply and backlight on the 230. I guess i just need someone to toss the coin for me... i'm driving myself nuts! thanks again Thanks,

It charges up to 4 cell LiPo packs. It charges, cycles and discharges any pack and it is backed by a 5 years warranty. All this for 90$us. However, the charge is only DC, You'll need a 12v power source such as a power supply. I don't know your needs but there are others "budget" charges that offer the same features as the Ice but with an integrated power supply and the capability to charge up to 6 cell LiPo.
