Introduction

Yeah Racing offers a wide selection of high quality aluminum parts and accessories for a wide variety cars and trucks like Kyosho, Tamyia, HPI, A-Tech, ABC Hobby, Anderson, Team Associated, Mugen Seiki, Yokomo and Duratrax.

I decided to take a closer look to their aluminum sedan wheel adapter (A18T-001) and to their diff outdrives (A18T-023) for the Team Associated RC18T.

The sedan wheel adapter fit perfectly on my MIP CVD’s, Yeah includes axle pins but I didn’t have to use them. Also included, a blue washer to help to center the sedan wheel onto the axle. Installing those adapters only took few minutes and can be done by anybody. You just have to remove the stock wheel, insert the adapter, install the new sedan wheel and secure everything with the supplied washer and the stock nut.

I also installed the diff outdrives on my RC18T. Once again, like the sedan wheel adapter, the outdrives are perfectly machined and fit perfectly to the stock diff. To install, you have to completely separate in two the diff by removing the thrust bolt, transfer the two diff rings, balls and diff gear into the new outdrives. Unfortunately, with the new outdrives, there was no nylon lock nut supplied for the thrust bolt. I had to search for one in my old stock from different truck.

Reassembling the diff was easy, I use exactly the same shims that was used with the stock diff. I didn’t have to reinstall the sleeves to prevent the dog bones from falling out.

Conclusion

The sedan wheel adapter and the outdrives are top quality products. They had a nice blue touch to my RC18T, they add strength and I can now race my truck with sedan wheels. This was the first time I had the chance to put my hands on Yeah Racing’s product and I’m really impressed. Be sure that I’ll certainly order few parts for my B4/T4 soon.
