Truggy or buggy?? I’ve been long time dealing with this question. For many years, I’ve been running monster trucks and I’ve switched to truggy when they have first hit the market. During all those years, I have ran 1/8 buggy few times but nothing seriously. Now, things have changed, I’ve decided to sell my truggy to only focus on 1/8 buggy.
Why such a move? First, I’ve always loved how 1/8 buggies look. The buggy class is also the most popular class and manufacturers tend to focus more on buggy. With that said, buggy are a little more touchy to drive, more sensitive to setup changes and they forgive less to (my) heavy throttle finger. There is nothing like watching a 1/8 buggy breaking hard and entering a tight corner. They look so cool!
I made my choice on the new Team Associated RC8.2 and I’ve ordered the new RC8.2e sooner this week. I’ll post more on my engine, brushless combo and tires soon!
