Recently, I’ve received few sponsorship requests in my email box. This flatters me that people thinks at MyRCBox.com when they look for sponsors but I don’t sponsor racers. Maybe when I’ll reach 30000 visitors per day and when both sidebars will be packed of ad$, yes I would sponsor racers but at this moment, this is not the case.
However, to be sponsored, you must have reached a certain level in your race career. If you can’t make a lap without crashing, forget sponsorship immediately and go back practicing at the track.
Many people think that being sponsored is the key to have success in RC racing. I’ve seen people selling all their RC stuff and switched to another brand because their sponsorship request was rejected! That’s ridiculous!
To everyone who wants to be sponsored, I invite you to read this article (Do you have what it takes to be sponsored?) posted few years now but still 100% true.
