My Words – Back in 1991! AE RC10T and the 5th Reedy Race of Champions

Last weekend I did a little clean up in my workshop in the basement. I’ve found a box full of old R/C magazines. Many old RC Car Actions mags but also few Radio Control Model Cars magazines. I didn’t remember I had those mags.

You see the RC10T on the cover? This was my first R/C and I still have it in a more than excellent condition.

This one is from June 1991 it featured a “First look” article dedicated to the Team Associated RC10T electric truck.

But the hottest article is the race report of the 5th Reedy Race of Champions, starring Masami Hirosaka, Mark Pavidis and Cliff Lett and their legendary Team Associated RC10 (gold tub chassis of course!) buggies! I’m sure those pictures will bring back good memories to many of you.

I have more than 100 of those old magazines in my workshop. I think I’ll slowly reread them in the next months.

Now, for the pictures’ copyrights, I’ve searched the web for any trace of Radio Control Model Cars and I’ve found nothing about them. So, all pictures are copyrighted from Radio Control Model Cars.
