Since Team Associated’s factory racers are racing prototype big bore shocks on their B4.1 and T4.1, the rumors concerning a new RC10B5 buggy or a new T5 truck have multiplied. Rumors and speculations are bigger since Team Associated has posted blurred pictures of the big bore shocks on their Facebook page.
Presently, there is a “buzz” on the web about the new Team Associated big bore shocks vs a new B5 buggy. There are a lot of speculations about what is going on in Area 51. A lot of people say that Team Associated will release an “updated” B5/T5 that will include the big bore shocks. Some others say it will be an all new B5/T5 with aluminum chassis and BB shocks. And there are the others, like me, who think that Team Associated will simply release the big bore shocks as option parts because the B4.1 and the T4.1 are still very competitive and continue to win a lot of races at any levels.
What are your thoughts? A new B5? A B4.2? Or BB shocks option?
I think a B4.2 with Big Bore shocks as the main bullet point but probably several more changes + 8 on the chassis, a few tweaks here and there like the B44.2 got. It will be cool, I would buy it asap.
