After consideration and input from track owners and racers across the country, we have decided to go back to Divisions in 2012.
We will have the following Divisions:
- North
- South
- East
- Northeast
- Great Lakes
- Mountain
It will be the best 3 of 4 races in each Division to determine Divisional Champions in the following classes:
- 4WDSC
- 1.8 Electric Buggy
- Int Buggy
- Int AT
- Open Buggy
- Open AT
- Pro Buggy
- Pro AT
You will have to attend at least one Divisional race to qualify for the National Finals.
Race fees will be reduced this year to $35.00 per class. In light of the reduction in race fees, we will no longer be giving away free t-shirts, etc., but will have t-shirts available for sale. You will still have to be an RC Pro member, either yearly or weekend, to race an event. To race the Finals, you must be a full yearly member. Divisional Champions will race the Finals at a reduced rate to be determined and announced at a later date.
Be on the look out for rule changes coming soon. A couple of the rules will be amended to be effective as of the date of the 2011 Finals.
To make the Finals a little more interesting, we plan to implement a big change in the way racers take points into that event.
To be continued…….
