JQ has posted a very interesting video about a new way (to offroad) of adjusting the downtravel/droop on a 1/8th scale buggy. As for ride height, JQ uses a ruler to measure distance between the chassis and the ground when the suspension leaves the ground. According to JQ, this allows a more precise measurement no matter the shocks position.
This how-to video is the first of a “Do it in 60s” series of videos that will be posted on JQ’s web site. Note that the video is not only good for JQ’s products but also for any buggy or truggy. The man peeing in the bushes (@40 sec) is just a funny blooper
