Drake dominates JBRL Nitro Series #6

The 1/8^th Expert Truck class Team Losi Racing / Novarossi’s Adam Drake took TQ honors in both rounds of qualifying with his Novarossi powered TLR 8ight T 2.0.  Second and third on the grid was TLR’s Matt Schreffler and Matt Castellano.  The beginning of the 20 minute final was a great battle for second between Schreffler, Castellano, and King.  This allowed Drake to pull away to over a half lap lead.  Drake won the final followed by Matt Schreffler in second and Cody King in third.

The 1/8^th Expert Buggy class saw Adam Drake again take the TQ spot in both rounds of qualifying followed by teammate Matt Castellano and Cody King.  At the start of the 20-minute final Drake made a mistake and fell back to the fourth position, but he was able to quickly make his way back to the front by putting in consistent laps. At the halfway point of the race, Drake had a comfortable lead of nearly a half a lap on the field.  Drake continued to put in great laps and went on to take the win uncontested.  TLR teammates Matt Castellano and Drew Moller rounded out the podium for a TLR sweep.  World Champion Cody King finished fourth.
