Once again, the world’s best drivers converged upon Cleveland, Ohio over Thanksgiving weekend to compete at the 2010 U.S. Indoor Championships. The Champs is one of the longest continuously running events in the history of R/C racing, and one of the most prestigious.
Reedy factory driver Keven Hébert has been on a hot streak lately and was looking to maintain his winning form. Driving a Reedy/LRP-powered TC6, Keven was able to capture the top qualifying position in the 17.5 Expert class with a strong performance on the high-speed carpet circuit. Starting on the front row for the A-Main event, Keven shot into the lead and never looked back on his way to victory.
The 17.5 Expert class has become the most competitive in the country. High-tech ESCs and closely matched motors put a premium on driver skill, car handling, and battery output. In addition to skillful driving, Keven was able to use the power advantage created by his Reedy 60C batteries and LRP ESC/motor combination to outrun his competition. His perfectly set up TC6 rounded out the winning package.
World-class racers demand the confidence of powerful and predictable battery performance. Reedy LiPo power delivers once again!
