Reedy factory driver Keven Hébert showcased the power and performance of his Reedy/LRP powered Team Associated 12R5.1 with a win in the 1/12 Open 13.5 class at the 2011 ROAR Carpet Nationals.
Even though Keven was forced to switch chassis in the middle of qualifying, he still managed to out power, out handle, and out drive the competition to claim the top qualifying position and the coveted inside front row start. From the pole, Keven built up a manageable gap over second place to victories in the first two legs of the A Main and to win the prestigious ROAR National Championship title.
Spec motor classes like Open 13.5 even the field by limiting and equalizing motor power. A powerful battery like the Reedy 5500mAh 60C LiPo gives drivers a competitive edge over drivers who choose less powerful options.
