The Ryan & Ryan Show Shines Brightly At The 2011 Sidewinder Nitro Explosion

New ventures bring new challenges and Team Associated’s Ryan Maifield and Ryan Cavalieri rose to the occasion. With the Sidewinder Nitro Explosion moving to ARC Raceway in Temecula, CA many racers were seeing the facility for the first time.  Taking the top two grid positions in the Expert Gas Buggy, Ryan Maifield starting on pole for the 35 minute gas final with teammate Ryan Cavalieri on the 2nd spot. From the start, The Ryans checked out from a star studded field. Battling till the end, Ryan Maifield and his LRP powered, JConcepts equipped RC8.2 out dueled teammate Ryan Cavalieri’s Proline equipped RC8.2.

However, not to be left out of the winner’s circle, Ryan Cavalieri made good on his Top Qualifying position in the Expert Electric Buggy class by taking  home the win with his soon to be released LRP iX8 speed control and eBuggy converted RC8.2.

Honorable mention also goes to Cavalieri for a 2nd place finish in Expert Gas Truggy with the ROAR National Champion Maifield finishing a respectable 4th.
