In our R/C world, there are tons of upgrades or option parts available. One of the best upgrade parts I’ve found so far are the DE Racing mud guards. They protect the rear a-arms, the axles and all others components from dirt, water, mud, rocks and fuel. They make the rear section much easier to clean and they reduce maintenance. They are made of resistant plastic and their installation is a breeze. It took me only 5 minutes to install them on my RC8B. They securely attach to each a-arm with two brackets and two screws. No drilling or trimming is required, the mud guards fit perfectly.

Once installed, my only concern was the left mud guard that was really close to the exhaust header. This was not a real a problem because I’ve ran the buggy many times since I’ve installed the mud guards they still looking like new and no sign of wear and they have well resisted to the heat of the exhaust header.

Conclusion:

The DE Racing mud guards are a must have for any basher or racer. They are cheap, easy to install, durable and they do their job of protecting the rear suspension components. They only cost 7$us and will make the maintenance and the cleaning of your buggy or truggy much easier. And as bonus, they add a cool racing :)
