DomMonkey is a free domain health scanning tool. All scan results — including SSL certificate data, DNS records, WHOIS information, security scores, port status, TLS version checks, and reverse IP lookups — are provided for informational purposes only.

Results are generated automatically at the time of scanning and may not reflect the current state of a domain at any given moment. Network conditions, caching, and third-party data sources may affect accuracy.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of scan results
• The fitness of results for any particular purpose
• The security or vulnerability status of any scanned domain
• The availability or uptime of the DomMonkey service

A passing score or "OK" result on any check does not guarantee that a domain is secure, properly configured, or free from vulnerabilities. Security is multi-layered and no automated tool can assess all risks.

DomMonkey, its operators, and its affiliates are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from reliance on scan results, including but not limited to security breaches, data loss, or service interruptions.

Reverse IP lookup results are sourced from HackerTarget's free API. We do not control or guarantee the accuracy of this third-party data.

02 Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information DomMonkey collects and how it is used.

What we collect

• Email address — if you join the waitlist or subscribe to a paid plan. Used only to contact you about DomMonkey.
• Domain names scanned — we log each domain entered into the scanner along with a timestamp and approximate IP address. This helps us understand usage and detect abuse.
• IP address — collected with each scan request as part of standard server logs. Not sold or shared with third parties.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.

What we do NOT collect

• Passwords (we use magic link authentication — no passwords ever)
• Browser fingerprints or cross-site tracking data
• Sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the DomMonkey service
• To send you launch notifications and product updates (waitlist only)
• To detect and prevent abuse of the free scanner
• To comply with legal obligations

Third-party services

• Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics to measure site traffic. Google may collect usage data per their privacy policy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• HackerTarget — reverse IP lookups. Domain names scanned may be sent to HackerTarget's API.
• rdap.org — WHOIS/RDAP lookups. Domain names are sent to rdap.org to retrieve registration data.

Data retention

Scan logs are retained for up to 90 days. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@myrcbox.com.

Cookies

DomMonkey does not use tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies per their standard implementation. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@myrcbox.com for any privacy requests.

03 Terms of Use

By using DomMonkey you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Acceptable use

You may use DomMonkey to scan domains you own or have explicit permission to scan. You agree not to:

• Scan domains you do not own or have no legitimate interest in
• Use DomMonkey for reconnaissance, competitive intelligence gathering, or any hostile purpose
• Automate requests to the scanner in ways that abuse the free tier or degrade service for other users
• Attempt to access, modify, or interfere with DomMonkey's systems or data
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Paid plans

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
• You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Founding member prices are locked in for as long as your subscription remains active
• We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscribers at any time
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge

Service availability

DomMonkey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

All content, code, design, and branding on DomMonkey belongs to MyRCBox. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DomMonkey and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or security incidents.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of DomMonkey after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email.
