Green Bay, Wisc. – On January 13th, LiveRC.com launched an all-new website.
The live race broadcasting company’s website now features an all-new interface, which includes sections for daily news, photos, videos and feature articles.
The new site has been in the works for months and its unveiling will coincide with an all-new approach to R/C media for LiveRC. Along with continuing to revolutionize their world-renown live broadcasting, LiveRC will now delve into even more complete coverage of the industry.
“We plan on taking a lot of different approaches to the way we cover events,” said Eric Swanson, Director of Media Content. “The media industry has evolved more in the last five years than it has in the last 100 combined. We want to follow all of the ‘new-media’ trends and bring them into the R/C world.”
Along with the new website, LiveRC will begin to utilize social media on a regular basis. LiveRC’s Facebook and Twitter pages will be populated with by-the-minute updates of racing action and breaking news, so if you aren’t by a computer you can still follow along with the biggest races in the world from your mobile phone.
LiveRC.com will also have a new logo to complete their new image.
“Our new logo represents a push forward for LiveRC; we don’t ever want to be satisfied with a product or image we have,” said Brandon Rohde, President. “Once that happens, you stop innovating. Our new logo and website is just one of the many, many steps in the continuing evolution of LiveRC.”
LiveRC.com started in 2005 as a website designed to put live scoring from major races on the Internet for fans to see. Since then, they have built an expansive live video-broadcasting operation and have brought coverage of major races to thousands of households across the globe.
