The DrivenPro’s drag link is certainly the best upgrade I ever did on my 18T. It eliminates at least 60% of all the loose in the steering. Now the wheels still pointed in the right direction anytime and I don’t have to anticipate how the truck will steer anymore. The direction is now tight as it never been before.

The stock draglink uses 4 “corners” the steers the front wheels, the Driven Pro’s draglink eliminates all those “corners” that are the cause of all the loose in the steering. The installation is easy, you just have to remove the top plate to have access to the drag link and remove the two screws that hold the stock drag link and then install the Driven Pro’s drag link. It takes only 5-10 minutes to do.

One day or another, everyone who runs a RC18 had lost a shock spring retainer. This little piece of plastic that holds the spring in place on the shock. The consequence of loosing this little piece is fatal for any racers. Driven Pro has an universal shock retainer that fits well on the RC18’s shocks. No matter you have a Factory Team or a RTR version, the retainer will fit. It will also fit many other cars or trucks because it is… universal !

Installation is really simple, just remove the stock retainer and install the Driven Pro’s one. You don’t even have to uninstall the shocks. The retainer clips on the bottom of the shock and it can’t be popped off during impact or hard driving. It’s wide enough to accept any size of spring from many cars or trucks.

Conclusion

There are few minor improvements that can be done on a RC18 and Driven Pro offers great products to bullet proof and to get the best from your 18T. All parts I tested are made of high quality Delrin for long time lasting. They are all nicely designed and fit perfectly.

I can’t imagine myself racing my RC18 without those parts installed on my truck.

If you bash or race your RC18 in the dirt or outside, have a look to their spur gear protector… You’ll save a lot of spurs…and races !!!

Guys at the race track took a look to my RC18T and noticed the Driven Pro’s parts. Few guys tried the spring retainers on their Vendetta and they fell in love with the product like I did…
